Believing…dreaming….surviving. These are just three words I can tell to the people who wish to find people in the Army. We know that life as a soldier, protector and defender of a country is like ‘heaven and hell’ because as soon as he went on to a mission, we do not know what comes next. The “Where can I find him” and “How can I find him” are just few questions that many of us are still struggling nowadays.
There are so many ways now on where and how you could find a person in the Army. But first of all, you must “believe” that everything is OK and under control. Let’s say that you are looking for your “son” in the army who used to be away from your family for how many years now. You are worried right? So, stop waiting. Go and act now. First, try to call his number as many times as you can.
If you cannot contact him, try to visit the camp site if you know where he was assigned and look for his commander or closed friends so you can get some information about your son where he is now. I’m sure, you can get basic information about your son but they cannot give you guarantee with your son’s safety and present activities. He might be transferred to another unit.
So as parent, you’ll not be at ease. Sometimes, it’s also not easy entering the camp site because they are very strict and it’s also dangerous. If you failed, try searching the net. This is the most convenient way because there are specific unit government websites. There are links there that you can see in the homepage that will allow you to look or search for your son’s active or veteran members in the army.
Now, that you have it, your “dream” to meet your son again is not that far anymore. Although, finding people in the army is not an easy job for a parent searching for a son rather than military people who like to meet friends in the military too. It is because those people in the military can registered at military.com. This website is good and one of the biggest website that can help thousand of military people who like to meet friends by simply visiting military.com/buddy-finder. From here, they can have access with their friends.
Therefore, once you believe and dream for it, you can “survive” from all these lonely nights and days in finding your son or friends in the military.

With the approach of Remembrance/Veterans Day, Paul McKeever urges the media and the public to regard the deaths of freedom-fighting soldiers not as sacrifices, but as compelling evidence of our soldier’s brave and moral commitment to life and individual freedom. Help answer the question about the life of army veteran
Army Treatment, Quality of life, etc?I recently saw a YouTube video regarding an Iraq War veteran who had terrible treatment from an Army hospital and was denied basic pain relievers after his surgery. This made think twice about joining the army. Obviously I'm not joining the military to get the best treatment in the world, but I do believe soldiers, marines, sailors etc should be entitled to AT LEAST mediocre care. I know this is only ONE case but for those who are in the military, does the Army take care of you?
Is Air Force or Navy a smarter choice as far as medical care or care/treatment in general?
I think at the time he was an active sergeant. sorry for typo
